I like it better when they are cute and or clever rather than sexy. Sexy costumes feel like they are trying to hard where as a cute/clever costume shows how much thought they put into it.

It really depends. When both parties are involved in the roll and really rocking it, they can be super sexy. When it's obvious that one party is more into it than they other, then it just makes me roll my eyes.
