I have no dislike for either but I have always had a softer spot for cats and I have only ever had feline family members

I like both, but I prefer cats. We have had our kitty for over 14 years, and she is so cuddly and affectionate. But I would really like to have a dog, too . . . It makes it difficult, however, when you live in an apartment and cannot be home much though.

I love both, but if I had to choose, I'd have to go with cats.
I love their confidence of not having to rely on ya. They are like me - more removed and things are more on their terms. Or at least mine always have been. But then they say pets take after their owners....lol.
Where as dogs are like shadows following ya everywhere and very loyal. They usually require a lot more smooching....hehehe.
Plus they eat a shit load more

we have a cat, but I would prefer neither. I have two kids to clean up after, I do not want a third. Pets are like kids, but kids you can reason with to some degree.

I like both, but when I get an apartment I'll definitely consider a cat first. They tend to me more chill about their owners not being there a lot (with school and probably a job, I think I'll just be at the apartment to sleep for the most part)

cats. i LOVE cats. i like pretty much all animals, and really like fuzzy cuddly animals. But I LOVE cats

I find cats fascinating because they're so unpredictable, but I think dogs make better pets. I love both.
