I am dog person. Might have something to do with that I am terribly allergic to cats. But I have two dogs. Love em!

I actually like both about equally. I grew up with a wonderful Shetland Sheepdog, and currently own a sweet, loving kitty. My energy level is better suited to cat ownership, though, so in most cases I tend to favor them. And no sound is more soothing to me than a purr. It's a wonderful noise.

It's much easier for me to have cats right now. I don't have room for a dog, or the ability to give it the care it would need.
