My hubby and I have very different TV watching styles. He prefers to pick one channel to watch all night and I prefer to check every hour to see what I want to watch next. He calls me a flipper--even though his friends are twice as bad as I am!! One of his buddies flips every few minutes....

it depends on my mood, most times I stay on one channel. my hubby is the same way. I do find it irritating watching tv with my hubby because he will start watching a tv show half way through and it is usually one we own on dvd so we have it without the commercials. if we want to watch different shows, I usually go into the bedroom and watch tv.

both flippers, I find my partners flipping more irratating than mine. We tend to flip at different points in the show.

I'm totally a flipper. My biggest problem is that I use Netflix, Hulu, and HBO Go. I spend more time trying to find something to watch than actually watching something. I make my boyfriend pick something because I'm always so indecisive.

My wife and I are both flippers. We're usually watching more than one thing at a time. We refuse to watch commercials, so when one comes on, we flip over to the other show we're watching. If they both are in commercial, we usually switch off the TV and do something else instead!

I'm a watcher and my boyfriend is a flipper. We tend to only watch a few shows together because of these; we have shows or sporting events that we won't miss. However, sometimes when we are in bed, he'll channel surf. It seems like just when I get into something, CLICK! Pain in the butt!

We stream everything we watch, so there is no flipping. Though we might get bored of a show in the middle of it, or just need a break from time to time.

I like to use the guide to find something. My fiance flips through the channels. He'll do it on commercials and stop and watch something...drives me nuts sometimes.
