I know most people don't care, and even more are just glad that it's over, but you have to seriously realize what bullet we all just dodged. I'm not political by any means, but Jesus! We all lucked out last night. So be thankful, because the alternative would have been scary as shit!

Truth be told, I'm not fond of either candidate, but I'd rather take "4 more years" than have Romnuts as president.

I'm so, so, so relieved. I, like a few others have mentioned, wasn't totally thrilled with Obama like I was four years ago, but honestly - even if he's done some things I don't like, I have to admit he's done an overall good job as president. Romney? I used to live in Massachusettes. Let's just say I've had my fair share of Romney. I'm just glad he didn't win. So, so glad.

So relieved. I know some people are disappointed with the things Obama didn't do as president in his first four years, but considering the Republic obstruction he faced on nearly every issue, it's a miracle he got anything done. The auto industry is alive, Osama Bin Laden is gone, and health insurance companies no longer get to dump people for being too sick. I for one am willing to pay more taxes if those are the results, and I'm still not convinced I'd actually be paying less under Romney's plan, seeing as nobody ever saw the darn thing, and I'm not in the one percent. Human rights trump money either way, so it didn't really matter in my opinion.

Hes better than Romney, but American politics tends to be a bit ridiculous.

Agreed. I'm still unsure about the $2,000 penalty for not offering health insurance to employees who are full-time. I think there should be some sort of loophole that makes the employee sign off that they've denied the coverage and will get a plan of their choosing through private insurance. I'm really, really interested to see what is going to happen in 2014 with all of that.

It's not so much that I'm happy Obama won (don't love him, don't hate him), but more that I'm happy that Romney didn't win.

Was it just me, or did anyone else get the vibe that Romney wants every woman in the country to be a baby-making machine?
