Honestly, yes. I live in a very contested area, so we see even more of it than most. Besides the constant adds, there are the phone calls. Husband finally told one of them, "No, and could you please take me off your list? This is the 5th time you've called me in 2 days." She then hung up on him.

And then there is my personal favorite: when they show up at your door. When someone calls me or shows up at my home, I am *less* likely to vote for whoever they are campaigning for.

And the adds are just nasty. My CHILDREN came to me and asked me why the politicians are behaving in such a manner and saying such things. When even small children know you are being childish, you're doing it wrong. I will vote for who I will vote for, and you being intrusive won't change that. Enough already.

I'm always ready for this stuff to be over. I'll vote and I love my country as much as the next person, but I really dislike politics and all the slamming each other. Election years are not fun.

I always hate elections. It's not even about who is the best, just who has the most damaging campaign against the other guy.

Just once I'd like to see a commercial outlining a policy rather than arbitrarily bashing the opposition.

I don't know who wouldn't be. I'd very much like it to be over. And I know exactly who I'd like it to be over for, too... But honestly, get out the vote. It's important that we make the election as representative of our country's actual opinions as possible, and if you're not with me, well at least you're at the polls, fighting for those same higher goals.

I'm very into this election. It's really, really important to me, and while I'm kind of ready to be over the stress of it all, I doubt the guy I'm voting will win and especially not with the election coming to an end. I enjoy election time, actually. It's not something I get annoyed with. I am SO anxious and ecstatic to get to the polls though! It's been on my mind too much. But then again, I'm only 22 so I've not done this a whole bunch. Guess it's still fresh and exciting for a girl like me.

I never could understand "early voting". I have learned new things throughout the campaign. Certain critical issues are just no unfolding that could easily sway a thinking man or woman's vote. Voting early simply locks you in with perhaps less then full info on your candidate or the world they will have to deal with.
