Same here. I usually take my time to "read" new people I meet, then I open up once I know a little more about them.

o man...I use to be so shy I couldnt even look at people!lol.Im still pretty shy and quiet but not to that extreme anymore.I have a shitty job..I work in alil store but 1 think it has helped is to overcome my shyness...I actually pretend to be outgoing and it works!Overtime it has actually helped me!

im extremely shy unless i know the person well.. people think i am mean or rude since i dont open up right away. unless im online hehe

My shyness makes me socially awkward. Nobody seems to understand that I'm not being that weird on purpose, it's the anxiety of being in unfamiliar situations and around unknown people. For some reason, others push me into leadership roles and speaking positions; being part of a theatre program helped in being able to deal with those particular situations.

I know I interview very badly because of my shyness.

Shyness has never been a problem for me. I'm not over the top outgoing, but I have absolutely no problem talking or interacting with people in a given situation.

I am more of a Type A person, who always ask questions, inquire about everything and anything, confident, and an assertive type of person. As a business man, it is important to be more of an extrovert than an introvert, yet be friendly and courteous to my customers and other people I meet.

It's all very situational. If I'm with someone I know very well, I can be very crazy and loud and fun, but if I'm by myself in an unfamiliar setting I am painfully shy and I have to force myself to talk to people. Online, I am a social butterfly lol

I am very shy but it can depend on the situation. Generally at cons I'm less shy and when I'm excited as well. But meeting new people I will usually be very reserved and quiet. To the point that people at work had wondered if I ever talked more than a few words at a time. XD
