We have a postage stamp front yard. Although I have nothing against artificial grass - I would never spend that much money on it. One of these days I may just pull it up and put in some xeriscaping.

Install it in the lawn? ...nope, but I would get something like the Potty Patch for K.C to use in the winter when he doesn't like going outside (to be fair, he hates rain and snow equally xD ).

I saw some very realistic looking artificial grass at a garden centre recently. I think it's a good idea if you have a small garden and you want something low maintenance, but you're not that keen on gravel or paving.
