Artistically speaking paintings and music are best. It is possible in other mediums, but not easily done

I love nothing more than a good sculpture (mostly because I appreciate the craftsmanship), but I just don't get as stimulated with sculpture as I do with theatre. It's all about motion for me.

Uh, magazines aren't really a medium Sorry, the art major in me had to say that.

I think almost all of your choices can portray love and sex quite well, as long as the artist is competent and knows what he/ she/ etc. is trying to convey. It also depends on the viewer's personal tastes. Some people respond more to theatre than a painting, and vice versa.

However, since I'm focusing on photography now, my favorite mediums to convey sex are photography and film. I'm not really interested in the subject of love, at least for the time being.

I can imagine pretty much everything except videogames. All of the other ones have already portrayed love and sex scenes.

Any of the above really, but I find it comes across better in books, music, or movies/theatre because it allows for more detail than just a painting or sculpture.
Paintings and sculptures can capture but one moment of a scene, but with other mediums like books you can describe the entire event.

Why can't video games? Some of them are more like interactive movies than anything, and I've seen some video games that had beautifully done erotic scenes that weren't the focus of the entire game.

Any type of art can convey anything, depending on the artist. Even perfumery or cooking can bring up erotic images, depending on the creator and the audience.
