So I saw this was asked about a year ago, but I figure many of you have probably changed your avatar since then, and there are new members....like me. So here we go again. Why did you choose your avatar? Is it you? Is it a representation of who you are or want to be? Is it a fantasy of yours, or just hot or funny?

Mine is of me. It's a picture that got taken while on vacation in Toronto. I got an ice cream cone from one of those street venders right outside the ROM and it turned my tongue blue. I always thought it was a pretty cool picture

Mine is me as well. Took it with my Photo Booth on my Mac using the "glow" setting. Although, I need to re-do it, because my hair is red now and I have newer, thicker glasses. But still. Geek girl with geek glasses. Fair enough, right?

I was in a hurry too and just picked one that represents us as a couple. We love eating spicy-hot food, love vacationing in hot places, and love having hot sex, hence the chili peppers. Maybe one of these days I will take the time to actually pick something more personal of my own.
