We are taking our first ever vacation together. It's so exciting. Sadly, it won't be long though. We are leaving out in the morning and coming back Monday afternoon Most of the time is going to be filled with attractions with our 3 year old. ( she is having some medical issues so she has to stay with me at all times)

What's the average vacation length for you? Do you take the kiddos along?

So far mine are about ten days. Kids, yes, but they're usually older than thirteen, so no diapers or strollers.

Average around 9 to 10 days for "real" vacations, but we try to take short trips on the weekends.

Short trips are three days or so, a vacation between 7-9. No children to take along, but we will often look at children's museums or attractions just because. They're usually fun and interesting no matter how old you are.

I used to take a month, but now with the kids and all their activities we take 2 weeks at the most.
