There are so many ways to take this...lol.
I can't say that I like all animals, because I don't understand the context.
As companion animals, I really only like dogs.
I like chickens and pigs because they cane provide for me and the family...haven't bought eggs in over 2 years.
Exotics...alligators, constrictor type snakes, and tarantulas. ( tarantulas make great pets and are cheap and easy to care for.)

As a pet, generally dog or cat. Had a pet fish once, named him Blart, from Paul Blart Mall Cop. He was a beta fish, had him for quite awhile. Exotic and fantasy animals are fun too, but I wouldn't want to own one.

I love all animals, but I have a special place in my heart for cats. We got one when I was 8 years old and he stayed with me for 17 1/2 years. I sure do miss him. >^..^<

Who wouldn't love a talking cat? Too bad fantasy pets are just a fantasy though. Realistically, I wouldn't want a dragon though. Could you image the pooper-scooper you would need to clean up after Godzilla?
