My husband's driving stresses me out often. He does rolling stops at stop signs, make left turns into narrow two-way streets in the center of the road, driving 5 to 10 mph over the speed limit in a school zone during school hours (although there's no kids around), won't move over to the right when a fast moving vehicle comes up behind him on the freeway, etc. I have much better etiquettes than him, my only bad habit is doing 75 instead of the 65 limit on freeways, when the situation is permissible.

I don't know how to drive, so easy choice there.

My boyfriend tends to go over the speedlimit, and will tailgate sometimes. It makes me twitch when I am in the passenger seat. lol

He's probably a better driver just based on experience, but he does a lot of the rude things That I hate that other people do when I'm driving.

I have a better driving etiquettes, just because my wife doesn't drive.

I hate driving but have better etiquette! I'm super anal about driving, though!

We're both fine, but I've only been driving for... less than a year, so he has some SERIOUS practice on me!

I'm a very cautious driver, having lost 2 close friends to car accidents and been in a few accidents of my own. My partner is a rather impatient, aggressive driver.
He's been pulled over 2 or 3 times this month. I've been pulled over twice... since I got my license, 6 years ago.

We both have different driving habits - some of it based on the cars we drive. The husband definitely has the smoother driving habits.

I wouldn't say we're both impeccable, but more that we're equal. He's had more tickets than I have, but he can tow a trailer and I can't.

I said I have better etiquette than my husband but not by much. He really is a great driver but he drives much different than I do so it tends to annoy me more than anything. He tailgates and sometimes speeds. I'm very cautious but I can also be a bit impatient when it comes to people who don't drive well.

I guess he does. I'm always in a hurry for some reason even if I don't have to be and I have some HORRIBLE road rage. I'd prefer him to drive so I can just sit back and relax though sometimes I get on him about driving like an old man. I can't parallel park or squeeze in tight spaces at all so if that happens I will get out and let him park.

im older than both my ex and my fiance. my ex, while delivering pizza, pissed me off with his driving. now he's a truck driver and he still pisses me off because he takes turns too wide and drives 60 mph in the slow lane in our little car. my fiance however only recently became a driver, but he's been watching me and seeing how i try to be a good driver at all times, and is turning out to be the same.

We are both pretty good. We use turn signals, drive defensively, allow people to merge without speeding up to cut them off, watch out for emergency vehicles and merge away from parties on the side of the road, etc. I am the more aggressive driver. I tend to go faster than he does, but not more than 5 or 10 over the speed limit, and not if it is inappropriate to speed at that time. His last ticket was about 8 years ago, when he was driving from Atlanta to Savannah to see me, and I've never had an accident or ticket.

I usually take the bus at school, but when I do drive places, I tend to be very polite. No tailgating or speeding or cutting people off.

Does your partner care about car insurance rates going up because of those tickets?
