Do you eat a big breakfast?

Contributor: sweetpea12 sweetpea12
I have been eating a lot at breakfast this week, and it feels like even though I eat a lot of protein and fiber I'm still really hungry. Do you eat big breakfasts? And are you usually full after it?

It depends on what I eat. My favorite is a bowl of high fiber oatmeal and some scrambled egg whites. That can keep me full for hours. On normal days I stick to cereal and yogurt so I'm usually hungry within 2-3 hours.

I've been trying to be better about eating something (anything!) at breakfast time just to get the day going. Oatmeal has been my go-to and usually is enough to leave me feeling pretty full through the morning.

If I only get protein (eggs/yogurt) I generally feel less full, but if I have them with a little (minimal) carb item I usually am good to go.

I really hardly eat any breakfast at all. But, sometimes on a weekend, I will make waffles or French toast, with fresh fruit and pure maple syrup. I suppose afterwards I'm full, but I'm not a big eater.

Breakfast foods are definitely among my favorites. I love starting the day with a full breakfast - often bacon, eggs, toast and hashbrowns or homefries - but it doesn't necessarily have to happen in the morning. I almost always eat something in the morning, but generally it'll be something small, and I'll take the time to make eggs or pancakes closer to noon.

I don't eat breakfast, just a glass of milk and then a pot of coffee. That's my breakfast.

naw I'm a big dinner eater lol If I even eat anything in the morning it's usually a couple pieces of toast or pretzels. A big breakfast for me a sandwich. Unless it's the days I'm coming home from school at two (I have all my classes together) I'm not really hungry till later.

I usually prefer to save big breakfasts for eating out. Then it's all about the omelettes, steak and eggs, huevos rancheros.

I usually have coffee for breakfast - at least a pot . I have discovered Greek yogurt, too, which seems to keep me feeling full.

No breakfast for me. Just some hydration and I'm off. I have more energy and focus if I have not eaten recently. (Probably at least in part because I'm eating the wrong things... because they're tasty.) Breakfast foods are always good, though.

I try to eat a lot of small meals so I usually have cereal & milk for breakfast and then I have greek yogurt around 10 a.m.

during the work week, I dont eat anything until first break at work. Then I will eat a lot. If I eat breakfast during the weekend, it ranges from just some coffee to a full on breakfast. It all depends on how busy I am.

Not really. I love breakfast, but I'll usually just have 2 slices of toast, OR a bowl of cereal, OR a bagel.

I'm a late riser, so I usually skip breakfast and only have a cup of coffee.

Maybe a protein shake or meal bar, if I have time for breakfast. Sometimes I can't eat after I wake up right away or it messes with my stomach.

I tend not to eat big breakfasts. It takes awhile both my body and my appetite to warm up.

Almost never. I normally eat a snack four hours after I wake up, a small meal 3 or 4 hours after that, and a huge meal a few hours before I go to bed.

I eat a very large breakfast consisting of oatmeal with flax and cinnamon, almonds or walnuts, fruit (bananas or berries), skim milk and a big handful of chocolate chips. I don't get hungry until about 1-3 PM in the afternoon.
