How do you feel about big fancy weddings? Personally I think they're ridiculous and just so the bride can show off.

I think if you have a small wedding people talk about not getting invited. If the couple decides to have a huge wedding and invite everyone then people talk that they are trying to show off. I say do whatever damn thing you please and forget about what people think because people will always have something negative to say no matter what you do.

As long as it isn't MY wedding--I don't care either way. It is relative to the couple and what is meaningful to them.

I think it's a personal choice, and whatever the person chooses to do/have to make them happy, is their decision and shouldn't be critiqued by anyone. I had a very small wedding because it's what I wanted. Don't like the idea of someone's 'large' wedding, just don't go.

Big how? Lot of money can be silly, unless they have it to spend. My aunt did, and her wedding was a lot of fun. Having a lot of people can be good, as long as everyone is content with a simple meal after

I wouldn't want one. They seem a little silly and wasteful to me, though they can be beautiful and are probably fun for the couple.
