Body product you can't live without...

Contributor: Danielle1220 Danielle1220
Is there a body product that you love sooo luch that you can't live without it?? If so, what is it? And why do you love it?

I LOVE my Kama Sutra Body Souffle in the strawberry creme scent. I use this every morning and every night...so if I didn't have any, I would definitely miss it. It smells sooooo good and tastes very nice on the skin (my husband loves it).

Ha, this is going to sound ridiculous, but it works. Diaper rash ointment. Has to be the creamy kind, though. I put it on sensitive areas after shaving to create a barrier and help prevent razor burn and discomfort.

Yay, I like new friends Make sure it's the creamy kind that says "Zinc Oxide ointment with Aloe and Vitamin E." I usually just get whatever store brand I can find. And the tube will last you FOREVER!

I can attest to this working! I have a tin of Penaten cream here that I use for that.

Mary Kay Satin Hands and Body Buffing Creme. MK stopped making the large tubes of unscented buffing cream, and have only the small tubes of peach scented crap now (freaks). It's better than that apricot scrub stuff for the face, even though that's not what it was made for.

Actually the baby aisle is full of great stuff.

Baby wipes are awesome for taking your makeup off as well as spot cleaning on furniture.

Baby lotion (the one with aloe and vitamin E - Johnson and johnsons of course) I used when I was pregnant religiously on my belly and ended up with only 3 small stretch marks.

Johnson and Johnson also makes a eucalyptus baby bubble bath that is AMAZING when you have a cold. fill your tub up with hot water, pour some of that in and soak and it works great to declog the shnoz

Baby shampoo works great for pet shampoo. (it is WAY cheaper )

When I met my boyfriend I still had a bit of a problem with acne. He told me to quit using all the medicated cleansers I had been spending tons of money on, and try washing my face with Irish Spring soap- the original kind. He had terrible acne when he was younger and it cleared his face up, as well as mine. Because it dries the skin out a bit, it dries the acne up with it. I couldn't tell you exactly WHY it works, but it did. Just make sure to use a non-greasy face lotion afterward, so you skin isn't really dry.

The baby oil gel is awesome. And baby powder.

(Baby shampoo actually screws with your pet's natural Ph and can be harmful. )

The triple moisture body cream from Bath and Body Works. I have it in 10 different scents right now, and hopefully more soon. It works better for me in the summer, but even in the winter it mostly keeps the dry skin at bay.

Baby wipes can get food stains off of white carpeting -- I was stunned and relieved when I put that one to the test!

Baby shampoo can also be used as laundry soap for folks who are allergic to stronger detergents.

Oh yeah. I was at a party one time and my friends son dropped a sweet and sour chicken ball on another friends newly upholstered white dining chair. The baby wipe took it out so quickly and well that the new chair girl actually went out the next day and bought a pack of wipes LOL

Funny. I had a vet tell me that it was safe.

I love the California Baby bubble bath with the bubble wand in the container. I'm also very attached to the Sweet Beauty Chocolate Body Cream. It gets rid of the dry patches and makes me smell like dessert.

Does lipbalm count? Korres Jasmine lip butter is the best I've ever tried.

I'm addicted to Hempz Pomegranite Herbal Body Moisturizer. It hydrates sooo well, without being sticky or greasy, it's great for the winter.

Probably depends on the species. Baths in general are bad for cats, but sometimes they tangle with a can of paint or a skunk and you really have no choice.

oh jebus, I would never bathe my cat. I would end up with a mangled hand and probably an eye ball rolling around on the floor.

I mean for dogs. A vet here told me that baby shampoo used as dog shampoo is great.

*perks*

I have never seen this kind. Must be a US product. I will have to send my american friends on a mission.

I actually cannot sleep unless I put lip balm on. I have a serious lip balm addiction.

I absolutely LOVE The Body Shop's tubs of body butter. My favorite is Shea Butter. It is so very thick, rich, and soothing. It is not cheap, so I try to get it on sale (BOGOF) or off of e-Bay. If I get two on sale, the other scent I love most is Brazil Nut. Strawberry, Cranberry, and Mango are nice, too, but I always want some Shea Butter available.

They also have a fantastic Lip Butter. I love the Shea Butter in that, too!

I'm not one for body products, but I can't be without men's underarm deodorant, especially the gel kind. It's the only thing that works for me, women's doesn't seem to work as well, or balls up/makes me sticky.

I use diaper rash cream for this reason as well, it works really well. I love Dove body wash, I don't know if I could do without it.

I love baby wipes for that reason.

I'd have to say Curel. It is the best lotion for my skin. Other lotions burn or irritate me and don't work as well.

What kind of lip balm do you use? a lot of them have ingredients that dry out your lips like alcohol so while they make your lips feel good for a little while, in the long run they dry out your lips even more.

Try and find a lip balm or chapstick that doesn't contain petroleum or alchohol and it might help with this. Alot of the natural chapsticks are better for this

I love my deoderant...it smells nice and Dove is the only one that I don't have awful reactions to. It keeps me smelling nice also.

I could not live without baby oil. I put some on in or after my shower to make my skin silky smooth. My partner loves when I take the time to do this.
