Try soaking in a warm tub with about 1 cup of baking soda added. Then when you get out of the tub use a q-tip with tea tree oil on it and dab each bite. You will smell a little funny but it does help. Lavender oil also works but tea tree works better for me.

Putting an X in them. I might sound silly but it totally works. I get attacked by bugs whenever I am around them. They happen to find me delicious. When the bit first occurs put an X in it with your finger nails. When it itches continue to do this. For some reason it helps get rid of them.

I use clear nail polish if they are open from scratching, the nail polish seal the bite and prevents the oxygen from interacting with it and seems to make it go away. The other solution is a benadryl ant-itch cream, i get mine from Target

Witch hazel works wonders. I get small allergic reactions to even mosquito bites and this does remove the itch. So does an epsom salt bath.

I just use cortisone cream, but ever since I've started taking enteric-coated garlic pills (Garlicin), bugs aren't interested in me anymore; I used to be a bug magnet.
