Bumps in the night....

With Halloween just around the corner I was wondering???

How many of you have had an experience you can only discribe as "paranormal"....and I'm not talking about that scary good orgasm you the other night!!! If so did you share your story with others?

In early 2009 I bought my house...it was built in 1897 and I have to say there have been some strange things happening here since I moved in...hell, even before I moved in. When I came to see the house with my real estate agent we had some odd voices and noises going on throughout the house
I know people say I'm crazy or imagining things but there have been others present and seen some of the things that go on here. There is so much more to this story...

When I moved to Nebraska and lived with my parents, that house was pretty... well, creepy.

It got to where my dog wouldn't even sleep in the basement anymore because he was too terrified of it. His bed and bowls were down there and he liked it, but at night, noooope. One night he just came racing up the steps and into the living room and looked so scared!

And then later, after my parents would go to bed, sometimes we'd be sitting up in the living room late at night, and he would just suddenly wake up, stare dead at a spot above him and GROWL and back up.

I saw a ghost with a few other people at the Alamo once, but that place is ridiculously haunted so it wasn't very impressive!

Oh are you?! That's pretty cool. I've since moved back to Texas (lol a few different places at this point) and haven't really had any scary experiences since.

25 years ago when I was pregnant with my daughter I was sitting on the couch watching tv and my cat was curled up asleep on my lap. I have an enormous pine cone - about 16 inches tall, 9 inches diameter that weighs about8 pounds. It is real!! Any ways, I had it wedged tightly in my built in entertainment center. It flew out of there and landed half way across the living room, my garbage can in the kitchen tipped over hard, like it was very roughly pushed. My cat had every hair on its body standing straight up, even the ear hairs, and was growling and clawing at the air. He was still on my lap, I was frozen. I realized something really bizarre had just happened and went to a friends house for the rest of the day. After I had my daughter the bizzare stuff quit.

I love reading these!

The strangest thing that ever happened to me was a disappearing glass of hot cocoa.

It's a longish story. Basically, I set it on the counter and it wasn't there when I looked for it. My roomie at the time and I both looked twice where we ended up finding it. It just appeared there.

I've had several things happen to me. I wouldn't say they were ghosts or aliens or something like that, but certainly things that freaked me out. I remember, once, when I was eleven-ish, I woke up in the middle of the night - for people I know, when I tell this, I say I was going to the loo - to watch some of the adult channel previews. But when I turned the corner into my living room, there was a very bright ... thing standing in my landing. I've no idea what it looked like, properly, as it scared the life out of me and I ran to hide under my blankies, but it looked much like a human form thing, but glowing. There were no definitive bodily traits, it was just something of pure light - you know, like those aliens in Cocoon. I wish I could say I was quite cool and offered it some earl grey tea, but I ran back to my bed, eyes glued to the doorway, waiting for it to come in and kill me. It didn't, of course. From what I could tell, it seemed to pulse, then disappear.
