I'm not big on birthday cake or store bought, but I love making my own and that's about the only cake I'll eat. My favorite is red velvet and of course the traditional old strawberry! I love those strawberry cakes in a box you make and slap on strawberry icing! That is amazing! I also like the chocolate too. Another fav of mine is the easter bunny cake I've made every year since I was a kid! I get 2 round cake pans and one is the head of the bunny, the other is cut into 3 pieces. A bow tie, and 2 ears! Lol. It's very cute, but tastes even better than it looks. I use coconut shavings to make it look furry and mix frozen strawberries with powdered sugar to make the icing. Nothing tastes like that stuff! It is wonderful. I use jelly beans for the eyes and nose and draw the whiskers. Then use strawberry icing from a can on the inner ears. It's the best cake and I never get tired of making it... or eating it!
