I'm genderqueer so I put both of the first options.

I prefer to own small dogs, but I like cats better than large dogs.. I will say I like dogs more in general though, because I like their enthusiasm and energy that you rarely get from a cat. And they typically shed less.

I think I'm more like a cat though because I'm really quiet and judgmental, hehe. People have to work hard to get my attention.

I definitely like dogs (and feel that I act like them) more than cats. Cats strike me as very snobby.
"You will pet me when I want it, and only when I want it."
"I'm going to poop in this box, and you're going to clean it up."
"Oh. You're home. I'm going to go lick myself."

Dogs are WAY more loving.
"OMG YOU'RE HOME! IMISSEDYOUSOMUCHPETMEL OVEMEPLAYWITHME!"
"I'm gonna go outside to do my business. Will you come with me? Maybe we can play!"
"I LOOOOOOVE YOU. And your food. Share?"

Dogs are much easier to get along with. You feed them and pat them and play with them, they're your friend for life. Cats, either they like you or they don't. Sometimes they grow to like you, but often times, they still aren't very affectionate.

I like cats and dogs equally really. But after having several as family pets in the past I would prefer not to again. Just don't enjoy all the expenses involved.

I've had mostly cats growing up and I prefer them. I love how content and relaxed they are. I love the way they smile. I love that don't drool. I prefer their calmer energy.

animals like me, dogs are awesome and cats are only awesome if you treat them like dogs.

my cats loved me and i threw them regularly into the pool. damn cats even slept at my feet/in my legs at night.

I like dogs, they aim to please you. Cats only suck up to you when they need something from you, and when they're full or don't need anything, they have the "go f#@$ yourself" attitude. At least that's my experience of dogs vs. cats.

I just like animals. I can't choose between cats and dogs. When I was a kid, I didn't grow up with either. My mom was allergic to cats, and my family was too busy to care for a dog.

Female, cats. Basically, my little brother was a cat, so... yeah, I love cats. It's weird; my family is for cats, and my husband's family is for dogs. You can almost sort of see it in the way they live, too. You can tell my parents are cat people, and his are dog people.
