I buy good quality cat litter, clean the litter dish every other day, and I have a wax tart and incense addiction.

My cat is very very clean and we clean the litter every other day. We have the windows open for a breeze during the evenings, but it really never smells even if we don't.

I have two cats living with me in a small apartment. They share a kitty litter in my bathroom. I keep the kitty litter clean, scooping as often as possible. I also use bathroom spray in there and plug ins to try to mask what little smell there is. I also use candles in the rest of the house, so it never really becomes a problem of smelling. One of my cats doesn't cover his poop, so you can tell when he's been in the litter box because the whole house stinks up! I just scoop it out as quickly as possible.

WARNING: GROSS: DO NOT TRY AT HOME: I don't have cats anymore. I used to have a pregnant cat which had diarrhea problems, needless to say I woke up one day with watery poop on my head and decided no more cats for me! Yeah I know!

Oh god, that sounds horrible! lol! So horrible I find it almost hilarious. Anyway, I try to clean the catbox often. I have a tart warmer in the kitchen to keep it smelling good. I also sometimes put baking soda in the cat box or use this spray I found at the store just for deodarizing pet smells.

I clean every other day or so. Take out the bag to the bin right away. It's in my bathroom which has a plug-in freshener. If someone doesn't cover his very well, I spray a bit.

I had a problem with my roommate's cat pissing before I moved. I tried ALL of the urine cleaners, so I can tell you exactly what will work to clean up urine.
