Do you prefer cats or dogs?

Dogs for sure. I've always loved dogs, but I'm also allergic to cat hair.

I like dogs and the hubby likes cats. We can never keep a cat though tehy always wander off. (We live in the country)

Not crazy about either, but prefer dogs. There's no variety in cats, but some dog breeds can be cute.

I like both but prefer to keep cats myself. We like to camp and go on vacation once in a while and just don't feel right leaving a dog home for that long by itself so that's why we have cats.

definitely dogs, cats are ok but dogs are just more of a companion animal that I prefer.

Dogs all the way. I like other peoples' cats, but I would never own one unless it was a barn cat. I am definitely a dog person.

Cats, definitely. The dogs in the yards that surround our yard are alright, though. I prefer the quiet, reserved one. He's very well-behaved.

I like both but I prefer dogs over cats. I do agree that cats are less demanding but I have always had better experiences with dogs because they tend to be more loyal.

I've voted on these in the past and always went with cats, but after seriously thinking about it...dogs win. Puppies make me squeal and I just enjoy the company of dogs more, but I do love both.
