Did you find yourself more concerned about the safety of your home and home protection after you had children or were you fairly security conscious before? What did you do to make your home a safer environment for you and your children, if anything? Did you put in home security systems or do other precautionary measures?

home security systems do not protect. It takes 30 minutes for someone to show up after the alarm is tripped. We have also been careful about keeping doors and windows locked and closed, when they are ground level. We also dont look like there is anything worth stealing on the inside of the house, from the street looking in. I also have alot of guns in my home, and know how to use them. Plus I moved onto a street with alot of cops living there. So we are pretty safe.
