Which city would you choose...A question?

If all options were open, your family, job and money weren't an issue, and you could live in any city in the world...Which city would you choose to live in?

Why?

Chicago, Illinois. No question. Why? It's the greatest city on the planet!

Not sure. I liked Boston. San Fran is nice too. Haven't seen Seattle yet. I'll go with San Fran suburbs if I can cheat a bit.

If I had that situation, I'd travel to all the cities I want to see but haven't yet, like Paris, Rome, Madrid, Rio (and lots of others) before deciding. San Diego would also be a contender, because of the weather and its proximity to both beach and mountains. Ditto for Santiago, Chile. And then I'd probably pick more than one!

Of the places I've been, Portland, OR could be a contender, as well as Amsterdam and San Francisco.

Actually...we might well end up right where we are, in the general orbit of NYC. Culturally, it can't be beat, our neighborhood is quiet and safe, walkable, bike-able, and it's easy to get to the city from here with no car required. We get all 4 seasons, but not too much of any of them...I guess Dorothy was right — there really IS no place like home!

Only for vacation but to live I would not go there. It is getting worse unless you are on the outskirts.

I am actually moving to a city we used to live in long time ago. I liked it. We are heading to North Carolina. I have had enough of Ohio and I am not going back to my hometown of Massachusetts unless it is too visit.

Well i like where i am now, im near san fran and its beautiful here but if i could choose it would be a hard choice between anywhere up in oregon in the mountains near the ocean, or san diego simply because i miss all my family down there, so if i went to san diego county i would live in julian. Man that was more complicated to answer than i thought it would be

I'd like to visit a lot of cities, but I'd start by Chicago as it seems a great place with interesting people, and maybe study a bit in America if possible (I mean night classes, don't have any diploma.)
Then, visit some south american cities.

If I had to pick a city, I am going to say Nashville. But really if I could move anywhere I wanted and family & money were not a factor, it would be as far away from everything as possible.

I absolutely love where we live now, it would be very hard to beat, but Austin, Texas has always been a city I wanted to live in. If I had to leave Texas, San Diego or the Miami area would be at the top of my list for the weather and the proximity to the ocean. If I decided to go exotic, someplace in the Caribbean would be nice, maybe St. Martin.

I'm not a sun worshipper but Hawaii is the place you'd find me. The only place in the whole world that I loved the beach and laying in the sun. No humidity at all!

The only thing I know from Nashville is:
Millions of country singers sing that they want to live there because it's great.

I have two: if it were in the United States it would be San Diego, Ca. And out of the county, I would want to live in London, England although I am not sure i could handle the winters there being a Southern California girl.

I would move back to Electra, Texas, spread the wealth by buying out the people on my street leaving me the only one there (nice and quiet). Why? Electra is a "real" small town close to 3,000 people. We actually have a parcel of land my step brother burnt the house down but we still pay the taxes on the land. the best reason of all is thay they have a SONIC. I'm a huge fan of the sonic chain lol.
