Are you a neat freak, or are you a messy person? Do you have room mates? How are they & does this issue ever cause problems?

I am actually a very big neat freak, which is why my ex employers loved me, because I'd constantly be cleaning something. But if you looked at my house, which I share with my parents, two of my brothers and my uncle it's very disorganized and messy because the men are freaking pigs. And no matter what I clean or how often it only takes them a few seconds to filthy it up again. So it causes me a lot of frustration because clutter just suffocates me, lol, but I just play it off like it's no big deal. Though if I'm honest I'll occasionally rant about how filthy they all are and how they need to be shot, lol.

I'm in between---actually, truth be told when it comes to most questions of this nature I am neither one extreme or the other. I always fall in the middle.

I don't mind mess as long as it's not FOOD mess! Laundry can pile up all it wants, but dishes aren't staying near my room for more than a day!

Aside from laundry on my bed and a semi-cluttered desk, I'm a very tidy person. I clean at least once a week and the trash/recycling is always taken out. I do have a roommate but both of us keep our mess at a dull roar and there have never been any problems.

Ugh, I can't stand when people have trash or dirty dishes in their house and especially their rooms! I don't keep a perfect house, but dirty dishes are a no go.

I am totally a messy person. My clothes go where ever I take them off until it's time to wash them. I almost always have a pile of dishes in the sink (though i rinse them so there's not food and it doesn't get all smelly) and I very often forget to take the recycling out. My house is a disaster, but I'm comfortable in it so I don't see any reason to change it. I clean when I need to or when I feel like it.

My boyfriend on the other hand is a total neat freak. He likes everything to be organized and in it's place. He used to work his butt off keeping this place spotless, but he's slowly giving up that fight. It's not like it's dirty, just a mess and disorganized.

A bit of both. As long as my mess is ordered, and there are no dirt, grime or miscellaneous marks of spills, then I'm okay with it.

I'm kinda in the middle I let things get messy but than it gets to the point where I have to do something about it and clean it all up

It depends. At home, I'm pretty messy, but at work, I get OCD about the most random things. I'll accidentally leave my coffee mug out with coffee still in it overnight because I forgot to clean it before leaving, but if the inventory binder isn't in alphabetical order I throw a fit lmao.

I neither. How messy my apartment is depends on how busy I am.

I'm a neat freak to the point where I personally cleaned my family's entire house before I moved in, as well as made them rip out all the carpets and bug bomb... but this house was like the ones you see on "hoarders"... gross.

I'm a bit of a neat freak. my Master is a major neat freak though and has high standards for how clean he likes the house. This can be a challenge with two kids and a cat. lol. I feel like I am constantly cleaning my house.

I am a neat freak, I like to have everything in its place. For the reason of finding it later. I hate wasting time looking for something that is not where you left it. My wife moves my tools around. I will put them in their drawer, in their spot. And when I go back to use them, they have moved. I dont mind her using them if she needs them, but it is not ok to leave them outside, or thrown on the work bench. My tools cost me money, and I need them to make me money.
