I recently quit drinking coffee, as I got tired of being the only one to make it, and I would only get 1 cup out of a 12 cup pot. my favorite flavor was hazelnut. unless I got the chance to go spend money at the Starbucks, and get a caramel macchiato.
I love Ethiopian coffee - it naturally has an awesome blueberry flavor.
I either get coffee at my local coffee shop or at the health food co-op (I like to get fair trade and sometimes I get the organic)
I never liked Starbucks, it tastes over-roasted.
Either I or my BF makes a pot every morning. Sometimes I go out for a latte, but not as much as I used to. And as far as flavors go, hazelnut, if I must
I drink coffee three or four times a week. I make it at home. I think it's Folger's Supreme or something like that. We grind it ourselves and I add fresh milk and sugar and go about my merry little way.
Every day. At home. We either buy Starbucks House Blend or Walmart has a fair-trade house blend that's pretty good. Although, Trader Joes has coffee for pretty cheap, so I think I'm going to try theirs next and see how we like it. We don't believe in going out for coffee on a daily basis when it costs $5-7 to buy 1/2 a pound of coffee for the week vs. $3-4/day out.
But if I could afford it, I'd buy a non-fat white chocolate mocha daily at the 'Bucks.
I mix two blends together, I love vanilla, but I HATE that vanilla creamer shit that leaves you feeling like you just sucked down a tube of coffee flavored lube. I end up buying a presidents choice dark roasted vanilla saturated fine grind and I mix it 50/50 with a light roasted fine grind. Tastes SO good. I drink anywhere from 0 to 6 cups a day probably averaging 4.
Is anyone here a coffee drinker? Do you make your own coffee or go somewhere like starbucks and buy a cuppa joe? Whats your favorite flavor?
I make my own coffee. I'm probably one of the biggest. I was up to 75 cups a day and my dr. told me to cut down. I probably now go through about 36-48 cups a day.Not much of an improvement, but I'm trying!
Drinking Kahlua Vanilla coffee these days. Still love Starbucks Thanksgiving Blend, Christmas Blend and Holiday Blend though. When it is quick energy that I need, I head to Au Bon Pain for a cup of Cafe Roast.

Yea, the starbucks coffees taste burned. I'm still trying to figure out how you burn a liquid. but the specialty drinks like the lattes and frappucinos and everything are oh so good.

We're coffee twins! Ethiopian Fancy at Peet's is the best. Not sure how that differs from Ethiopian, if at all.
You're also right about Starbucks over-roasting their coffee.
We make our own french press coffee at home. We never add flavoring. Masking the taste of coffee is for people who don't really like coffee.
Growing up in the Pacific Northwest I was surrounded by local and independent coffee shops. I took to one like a home team and actually have one of their roasts shipped to me on a regular basis. I prefer dark roasts, preferably with a hint of smoke. I know some people aren't crazy about flavored creamers, but I find that vanilla soy milk has a nice, subtle flavor without being too sweet.
