Common themes in and out of sex dreams:

For some reason, EVERY time I have a sex dream there is some sort of water involved. Last night, it was me and someone else in the bathtub. In the past, it's been in the showers, next to or in pools, in the rain, or anywhere else there is water. It's really strange. (I actually dream about water most of the time.)

My sex dreams are also interesting because they involve more women than men. Maybe all this water stuff means that my sexuality is fluid?

I found a lot of cool info on this site:

On the very rare occasion that I have a sex dream, it usually takes place at a school. I don't think it really means anything, though.

I take anything dream dictionaries say with a grain of salt. Always remember that while dreams are highly symbolic, the meaning shifts from person to person.

I keep a dream journal and have several reoccurring themes. The three most prominent are as follows:

WATER: a hell of a lot of water going on in my dreams. Oceans, rivers, lakes, rain, pools, etc.

Boats/Ships: even if water isn't involved

Grocery Stores: I don't even know

so interesting!

i had a dream earlier today that i was with a hot horny lady who pulled me into a barn to get her from behind. at which point i turned back into myself and was voyeuristically out of my own body, and the person she was trying to get to 'do' her was a man. out of the body, however, i got behind her, moved her giant tail out of the way (yep, she had a horse-like magnificent white tail) and started banging her from behind. with my vagina. it was turning me on so much! i woke up in the middle of it, having jumped back into the man's body again, and was all writhing on her with my penis. i woke up touching my clit and nearly coming.

dont have any recurring themes however. i often have sex with my boyfriend in sex dreams.

How interesting!

I don't really have recurring themes (well, I mean, there are a few basic categories of dreams---world saving, archaeological exploring, or "I'm just trying to live in my normal world here but everyone keeps trying to kill the people I'm with")---but nothing like "there's always water" or anything. (Also, I only remember dreams if I wake up during them, which only happens when they're adrenaline-packed, so I probably have lots of other mundane dream categories. But those three are the only ones that wake me up, and hence the only ones I remember.)

But always, in every dream I've ever remembered---rooms are never the normal size. Either they are huge and cavernous and theater-like, or they are super-cramped and tiny. In the last dream I remembered, about 8 of my friends and I had to make all these nylons in the tiny cramped bathroom of this huge mansion, so like the kid stitching up the backseams was hanging out under the shower nozzle, while someone else was sitting on the sink to stitch the toes... super tiny.

I don't really know if/what it means, but I think it's interesting.
