Has anyone else considered the idea of starting a company making toys?

Obviously, a lot of us know what we want in a toy, and I don't see designing toys as being all that complicated.

I have a few ideas I've considered pitching to different companies, but have absolutely no idea how to go about doing so.

Would you design toys if you could?

First you'd have to patent your idea. I was reading some information on a website and it said that even if you have your product/service patented, larger companies could still steal the idea since they can come up with ways to go around the patent without violation (this may only be for deceitful companies or certain types of products-- I have no idea). There are loads of links to different articles and such on google if you search "pitching product to company". That should help you some : )

LOL. My partner once described how he'd make a toy specifically for me and my needs if he were to make it from scratch. LOl. It was actually so intriguing that I did think 'wow, if only we knew how to go about that.' But honestly, I'd probably end up making a dildo disaster! LOL. It would be fun though. I do a lot of crafts, so I'm sure my creative side would enjoy it, but I really know nothing about where/how to go about something like that. Some people do though, and sell on Etsy. They are always so beautiful when handmade.

I have thought about this daily for the past 2 years. I have some pretty crazy ideas. I really want to make a rechargeable vibrator that uses solar pannels on it's own wodden case to recharge the toy while it's being stored away. I also want to design a dual vibrator that can be adjusted to help reach your g-spot and clit with a push of a button. Seeing how that seems to be a common complaint with users of dual vibes.

It would be fun to pitch a few ideas to a company to see what comes of it but I dunno I'd want to do it permanently haha

Nope. Never thought about it. Maybe I'm just too shy.
