This is the FIFTH day we are having of NO SUN gloomyness. I just want to stay in bed and sleep! Does GLOOMY weather affect YOUR drive to "do things"?

I don't mind some cloudy weather, but day after day, after day...it's getting old. I just want to stay in bed. The sun seems to motivate me, and without it, my "solar batteries" seem to run dry.

Anyone else find their mood and drive effected by GLOOMY DARK DAYS?

What do YOU do to "fight it off"??? OR do you just go with the flow and actually sleep in????

I actually prefer gloomy days, because I'm super photosensitive, but on rainy days I'd prefer to stay in and have sex.

I too, like cloudy days. After two or three days of sun, let alone a week or two, it's just....annoying! lol
I like cloudy, rainy, snowy days... they're my recharge days!

I love dark and gloomy days, they actually are more comfortable for me. I don't like going out when it's sunny, because I am also so sensitive to the light, I get migraines easily and I hate to drive when it's like that! Unfortunately, it's sunny too often so I am forced to endure headaches most times I go out.

I don't think I'm ever actually motivated to do anything, so it doesn't really change due to the weather

I don't mind one or two gloomy days, but if it's more than three days of grey weather and no sun, I start to get depressed and easily agitated. I also lose interest in my day to day activities.

I know the feeling I love sunny days without a cloud in the sky. Cloudy days I am gloomy. Gloomy days one after another and I get depressed.

I've grown up in lovely, rainy Washington, so the "gloom" doesn't bother me, but the cold sure does! Not that I mind *too* much, I just have to figure out how to bake and sew wrapped up in a blanket (And I've mastered the blanket-toga.) I prefer cold to hot though, since I can put on clothes all day, but after a certain point there's just nothing else to take off.
