I like the rub on sticks. Easy and quick without any kind of mess.

I try to avoid using deodorants because of aluminium. I don't sweat a lot and I shower often, so I don't think I stink . But when I do I either use a regular rub on stick or a crystal deodorant.

Some scientists are saying that one possibility of the increase in breast cancers is due to using deodorant and various cosmetics.

I don't really use deodorant. I find because I rarely eat packages/processed foods that I just don't stink or have BO. When I do use it (when I go to special events and get all dressed up), it is usually a rub on.

But one of the things that do help with BO in a natural way is a salt compress. I use sea salt to wash my face and I take two little towels wet them in the salt water and hold it under my arm pits while having my legs. I find this pretty much has really worked well in keeping me non-stinky longer. Before I started doing this, I noticed a slight smell after about eightish hours, now I don't notice any smell even the next day.

I cannot wait till my Christmas parcel arrives as then I get the last ingredient I need to make homemade deodorant!!!

I'm using Toms right now, which doesn't contain aluminum.

Wait, what's the difference between rub on and roll on? So confused

I have rub on and I use Dove that is the only thing that really agrees with me. I also have a tester that was sent to me of the new Secret. I like it but did notice the other day while out in this hot heat it gave me little balls and my Dove does not. The Secret is in a gel form. Plus the smell is strong but it works well besides the balls.

I think they mean the roll on with the little ball rollers on them. But rub on they are longer then the ball ones.

The rumor of deodorants causing cancer is a complete myth. I use rub on, I think that's all they sell really. I used to use axe body spray before it became uber lame.

I use the rub on kind and sometimes a spray-on natural lavendar kind, which works well, but it doesn't feel the same as the rub on that I'm used to. It's not aerosol either, it's like a perfume type spray bottle. It's just hard to get used to.

Well i must be one smelly edenite since i'm the only one so far to use the "none" option Most days i go without deodorant, which happened many years ago, around the same time i stopped shaving. It honestly is because i usually just forget to do so because like shaving, it stopped being part of a routine. My partners favorite nick name for me is "smelly," and on bad days friends will be sure to remind me to keep my arms down.e. I think it really reaffermed this when my exroommate had a lymph node in her underarm swell to the size of a golf ball because of wearing an antiperspirant/deodera nt, which will clock the pours in your pits and can infect any micro cuts that will happen from shaving.
When i do, i only use a deodorant and not an antiperspirant as a matter of preference (i dont like the idea of stopping my body from producing sweat since you need to sweat) and i will go with a natural brand like Tom's of Main. Currently i have the roll on of mineral crystals which does an okay job at making me less smelly.

I use Tom's of Mane solid, usually lavender scent but once in a while I get wild and use the apricot scent. After an infection caused by a blocked sweat gland I used tea tree oil for deodertant. I will never use antiperspirant again.

Bratcat, we wrote anti-antiperspirant posts at the same time! Awesome . I get smelly when I'm at work, but the dogs don't mind a bit. I don't care if it bothers my co workers since half of them smell like ashtrays anyway.

Great minds think alike! I'm sorry to hear about the infection though. The nodes in your pits are super sensitive and blaocking off ones sweat glands can have some adverse effects.
My last job i would endup working by myself a lot, and i worked in a small area with a 500 degree oven that was on from open to shut, so i usually wouldnt bother specially since costumers never got close enough to smell me. though, one day when i was working with my supervisor she stopped what she was doing while i was doing an order and just looked at me and said "are you not wearing deodorant?" and i was just like "yeah" and she scolded me telling me "you can do that when your around all this heat!" and i just laughed about it and tried to make it part of my morning routine. Her face was priceless though.
When i'm with my partner i usually will use his deodorant since we go out kind of often, but being vegan and having me dill the "NO ANTIPERSPIRANT" into their head, they only use Tom's of Maine.

I go with the using just "deodorant" and never use the "antiperspirant". The antiperspirant has a couple of nasty side effects such as the good ol yellow stains on the undershirts. And the active ingredient of aluminum has been shown to have a possible link to Alzheimer. But that is a weak link right now, we don't really know what causes dementia. anyway i just use old spice. Then again i dont have much of a smell or sweat problem. So it easy for me to say.
