I dislike the idea of tying virginity to the presence of a hymen. In my opinion, you lose your virginity when you have sex, not to a toy or to a tampon or whatever. A lot of women don't have hymens to begin with, that doesn't mean they aren't virgins. I also think the concepts of purity and virginity are outdated, but that's a rant for another time.

Implying the virginity is lost by sexual intercourse isn't correct either. Lesbians don't engage in intercourse unless it's a dildos. Are they forever virgins? Personally, my feelings are...who gives a fuck about virginity anymore? It's not something that any of us should concern our time with.

Wow, I wish people were more educated/had better access to proper educational materials. You can NEVER lose your virginity to any object, only another person. The hymen is only a leftover from when your sex developed in the womb.
