Well I used toys before I first had sex, but I did not consider that to be when I lost my virginity. In my opinion you need to engage in sexual activity with another person for it to count as losing your virginity.

I define losing virginity not by the first time you are penetrated but the first time you willingly say yes to a partner and then have sex. If it's not willing you may have lost some innocence but you are still virginal as far as I'm concerned. Also no toy can take your virginity...that's masturbation.

I think this question needs adjusting. Perhaps, how did your hymen break? Virginity is something given to another person. A woman can lose her virginity to another woman just as a man can lose his virginity to another man. So, we wither need to take away the toy option and replace it with woman, or need to rephrase the question.

I'll play along and pretend this isn't slightly sexist.

I fully agree, and had a similar experience.

Virginity is the state of never having had partnered sexual contact. So I both can't understand how it's outdated (what else would you call people who have never had partnered sexual contact? Unicorns? It's a state of being, not a value judgement) and how one could lose it to a toy.

IMHO I don't think you can "lose your virginity" to a toy. You can break your Hyman (which in my case was long gone from sports), but it takes sex to not be a "virgin" (for whatever that counts for).

Implying the virginity is lost by sexual intercourse isn't correct either. Lesbians don't engage in intercourse unless it's a dildos. Are they forever virgins? Personally, my feelings are...who gives a fuck about virginity anymore? ... more
One of my GF's/work partner...who is a "Lesbian" (she doesn't like that term), did get a laugh at your post. We happened to have an hour and a half down time at work, so I was surfing EF...with her looking over my shoulder some of the time. She just picked up your term "Forever Virgin". She is going to get her Wife (they were Married in Hawaii and have been together for almost 20 years) tee shirts that say "Forever Virgin". You better copy-write that phrase. It might catch on!!!!

Amen to that!!! You can't lose your virginity to a toy! LOL

Definitely lost my virginity to a man. However, I lost my hymen to the side of a school pool when I fell.

I don't believe its losing your virginity with a toy, that happens with another person, not self pleasure.

I think a better way of putting that would be "Did you break your hymen with a man, toy, or tampon" personally.

People have different definitions of virginity lose and others need to stop attacking their definitions.

In my definition, intercourse with another human (consenting intercourse) defines virginity lose, so with a man.
