Dildos with human names

Probably not. I would just rename it.

There's a dildo here that I REALLY would like to try, but I'm trying to get over the fact that it has my MOTHER'S first name.

Though, I suppose I can't hold that against it because I am currently writing a novel in which my FMC has my mother's name and she is a bartender at a gentleman's club and is experimenting with her sexuality. NOTHING like my mother, hah!

If I found a dildo with my own name then I might be tempted to buy it, just for the sake of amusement.

Kira linked me to a dildo that is named the same name as mine. Even though I wouldn't have much use for it, I REALLY want it!

Anyhow...to the OP. I agree with renaming it. MiMi doesn't remind me of the Drew Carry Show.

I must admit there is one here that I want, but keep passing up due to it having the name I picked out for my son. It just feels weird.

I think of it like this: am I going to avoid talking to someone I'm friendly with just because they share the name of someone else I don't like? Of course not. You have to put name associations aside sometimes - it's just coincidence in most cases.

Besides, I can always just rename it if it gets too weird, right? It's not like the toy is sapient and can object to any alterations of its identity. At least I hope not, or that'd be reeeeeally awkward.

LOL I actually have passed over toys that have names I simply didn't like in the past, I'm sure inconvenient name associations would be no different.
