DIY Toy Boxes

Has anyone created their own toy storage?? What did you use and how did it turn out?? I'm thinking about taking a tool box and painting and lining it for my stuff and was wondering if anyone else was crafty like that??

No. That sounds cool though.

yes, I built a few things. I made them out of Oak and Cherry Hardwood.

I've been meaning to. Probably first would be putting in a fake wall in the closet to stash all kinds of things behind though

I use those clear plastic drawer sets that you can buy at Walmart for under $20. It's super roomy and cheap! Although I am running out of room since my collection is growing. May be time for a second one here soon!

I bought an old wooden suitcase, and relined the inside with black and white contact paper. That way it's easy to wipe anything up that may spill. The box is strong, and easy to move from place to place. I've had it for years. The outside needs some love, but I like the beat up look, b/c it looks in no way like a toy box. It used to be used for roofing samples, or at least what the front says. lol I love it. Then I'm using a wooden wine box to house two long toys, and a glittery umbrella box for another long dildo. They go in the suitcase. Fun stuff.
