Do you massage your partner purely for therapeutic reasons, or does it inevitably turn into sex? When you perform a massage, do you have an ulterior motive or plan? Do you and your partner perform massages fully clothed? Do you use mood lighting, massage oils, wax, or maybe a wand while massaging?

I’m hoping we can have a discussion that becomes a light or window into how we approach each other.

Most of the time either of us is giving/receiving a massage it's just that. A massage. Occasionally it turns into something more, but not most of the time. And that's regardless of whether or not we're clothed during the massage.

It never does for us. We are too broken. If we need a massage, there is no way that we are up for sex.

Sometimes massages turn into sex or play. Especially if it's before a date night.

If I'm on the receiving end it sometimes does but other times I'm just concentrating on having aching back muscles sorted, it depends on how sore my back was when requesting the massage. Unfortunately most massages I get are to help with a back problem I have.

Not usually. I give my partner quick massages just because. And, I often get massages, and it would be totally weird if it turned into sex.
