The universe is a really big place. Our entire solar system is just a speck on the Milky Way, which is in turn just a speck on one small piece of dust of the entire universe. In all of the greatness, in the entire plane of existence, to believe that we are alone here seems like complete arrogance to me. That and a huge waste of space : P I most definitely believe in life beyond our own small planet!

I don't no. you either believe in a creator or in nature. The mathematical probability for the chances of everything coming together to create life on this planet alone is impossible, let alone on other planets.

Depends on your definition of alien. Do I believe there are life firms on other planets? Yes, but I'm not a big believer that they are similar to humans.

I sure do, if there's life here on planet Earth there has to be life in this very huge galaxy alone never mind other galaxy's.

I believe that there may be aliens out there, yes. Humans can't be the only 'intelligent life' out there. if we are, then that's just sad.

Yes, we can't be the only one, there's galaxies beyond this one that we don't know of yet.

The Universe is a huge place. I'm sure there are life forms elsewhere, it only makes sense. I doubt we are the only living things in the Universe.

Do I think they have visited here? I have no idea. I think the majority of "alien abductions" are people experiencing [sleep paralysis if you read about sleep paralysis, the two are almost identical. I've experienced sleep paralysis (people with migraines and other neuro anomalies tend to get sleep paralysis more often) and I never thought the experience was anything other than a neurological experience, even as a child. (And I believe in ghosts, as I've experienced them, but NOT during a sleep paralysis episode.)

I think it's narrow minded to say "this doesn't exist" as one has NO way of knowing for sure. I keep an open mind, but try to stay logical as well.

Actually, according to the Drake Equation, the mathematical probability for life via civilizations can be calculated, and although the number of civilizations are between 1,000 and 100,000,000. That's not just life but civilized life. Plain life forms, from a mathematical perspective, are much much more common.

The Drake Equation:

R* = 1/year (1 stars formed per year, on the average over the life of the galaxy; this was regarded as conservative)
fp = 0.2-0.5 (one fifth to one half of all stars formed will have planets)
ne = 1-5 (stars with planets will have between 1 and 5 planets capable of developing life)
fl = 1 (100% of these planets will develop life)
fi = 1 (100% of which will develop intelligent life)
fc = 0.1-0.2 (10-20% of which will be able to communicate)
L = 1000-100,000,000 years (which will last somewhere between 1000 and 100,000,000 years)

Drake states that given the uncertainties, the original meeting concluded that N ˜ L, and there were probably between 1000 and 100,000,000 civilizations in the galaxy.

I believe in life other than on Earth but I don't think aliens visit and abduct people.

Yes I believe in aliens. I believe we have around 11,000,000 in the United States. With regard to whether I believe in little green men. I remember in the movie “Contact”, in which it was said several times, if humans were the only life in the universe it would "be a terrible waste of space".
