Yes, I dye my hair with Kool Aid

I have colored my hair since I was in my early teen years. I started with kool aid, but I'm a natural redhead and I've kept it that way for about almost 2 years now. I just add highlights and change the red a little bit because I'm one of those "ginger colored red" redheads, which looks great on me and actually looks really good, but I like darker reds better.

I color mine. I love switching it up.

I do color my hair. But, I'm super lazy about it and only do it like once or twice a year.

People are generally shocked speechless when I tell them I wasn't born with red hair - it was dishwater blonde, but everything else about me screams that I need red hair. It's been red in one shade or another for almost twenty years now. My usual product is Revlon Colorsilk #42-Medium Auburn, but I'll be trying out Revlon Colorsilk #56-True Auburn this summer.

I did try out lavender streaks in my mid-20's. There was also a period of time in high school when my hair was a cranberry-grape color (same color as the Ocean Spray juice). Another period just after high school was an experiment in chunky platinum streaks - it was quite a statement.

I havent dyed my hair since my daughter was a year or so? So 3 years or something like that. I ended up getting my hair cut super short last year to cut out all the dyed hair, and recently got my hair cut to an angled bob. They said how healthy my hair was and I'm happy with my hair color.

I dye it, as I find black/very dark brown suits me better than... whatever my natural colour is called! It's quite bland, really, so, dye all the waayyy.

I used to color it a lot - a few months ago I tried a purple tint, but it faded out too quickly. Right now I'm my natural brown but I might go to a pro and see if they can do better with the purple than I did.

I usually just chop my hair short and let it be its natural brown and curly self, but I really like the effect red henna has on it, so I do that occasionally.

I've colored it black a few times, but I don't color my hair often.

I've been dying my hair every month or two since I was 12. Luckily, it's not at all damaged!
