If you use any contraceptive, how often do you fail to use it? Be it "forgetting" to take your pill, or just not using a condum "this time", or "it will be okay, since I forgot to get a tube of contraceptive gel"......how often do you rely on luck to not get pregnant?

Don't have to worry about it, had my tubes tied almost 15 years ago. Though I am currently on Birth Control Pills as well for my Hormone related headaches and have missed a day here and there.

My boyfriend and I use condoms and never go without them. If we run out and forget to buy more (that's only happened once in over a year), we don't have sex until we get some.

I have an Implant, so no forgetting for me. The big reason I went to that was because I forgot pills all the time when I was using them. The patch wasn't visually nice and neither my husband or I liked the ring.

I use the pill. There are occasions where I will miss a pill, but as my partner is in the UK and I am in the US, it's rarely a problem. I take the pill more as means of controlling my period.

Never missed a pill and I've been on them for about 2.5 years. My boyfriend and I use condoms too. No babies here!

I use the Depo shot. I get one every 12 weeks, and I don't even have to think about my birth control in the mean time.

I never miss a day completely-- least it's been a long time since then. Sometimes I'll be late by an hour or two, but from what I told, that is not a bad thing and doesn't affect anything.

It's a strange combination of the fact I have PCOS and am incredibly unlikely to even menstruate as well as paranoia that I will be "on" and get pregnant that would drive me to also be on the pill AND use condoms whenever I'm sexually active.
Since I take a lot of pills every morning it would be hard for me to forget to take any single one of them though, so forgetting really doesn't happen in my case.
