Do you frequently pull all-nighters? Longest you’ve gone without sleep?

Here is a question, that might apply to my fellow procrastinators. Do you frequently pull all-nighters? Why? What the longest you’ve gone without sleep? Any good all-nighters stories?

Only every once in a while for my job (we sometimes have to take field measurements in 24 hour intervals). Otherwise, I try to get 7-9 hours every night!

I did it a couple times a semester while I was in school, but since I graduated I haven't.

we do it whenever. Neither of us sleep, well. I'm more of a want to go to sleep, and hes more of a want to stay asleep. so sometimes our schedules get mixed up, and we just stay up!

I can't. even when I was young, I would stay up until about 6 or 7 and I would be bitchy and need bed. I feel like shit if I dont get my proper sleep. I think I am just not built for all-nighters.

I've been up for over 48 hours before. Ahh the joys of insomnia. It comes in handy sometimes though. Especially when you have long projects to finish.

Being a mommy there are times that the kids are sick and one bad round of illness I was up for almost 3 days with I think one two hour nap maybe. I was dead tired by the end of it.

To answer my own question, I've pulled a few during my early years of collage. I haven't in a while but at the end of this semester i pulled one, I gravely underestimated how long it would take me to do a paper and God did I feel old at the end of that my body was killing me from the lack of sleep.

I don't any more. But I used to. I have really bad insomnia and it gets worse if I don't stick to a sleep schedule. The longest I've stayed up is 92 hours, straight. No naps at all. It was bad.

no. I need at least a few hours of sleep. I like 6 or 7, but can live off of 2

Even as a college student I don't pull all nighters. There have been times when it may have been useful, but careful planning has let me avoid it.

Even if I had to though, I'm not sure I'd truly physically be able. It's just not worth it. I have to take adderall basically every day because of my adhd. I can't double up on doses. I'll crash really hard so even if I could technically be up I wouldn't be functional at all so I just don't bother.

I haven't really pulled all nighters since I was in college. I would every now and then end up in a situation where I didn't get much sleep for a few days either. Like when I drove all night back from my grandparent's place, got a few hours of sleep and had to go right back out, only to get an hour or two of sleep the next night, and the night after that. And then my 21st birthday where I was out plowing snow the night before, got an hour or two of sleep, and had to stay up and out until like 4 the next morning. Oh! Or when my brother graduated high school and I got up at 8 on Tuesday morning, was going to get home around 4 Wednesday morning but my car broke down so I had to wait up for it to get fixed, worked Wednesday, ended up going out Wednesday night, got an hour of sleep before work, then my brother's graduation, then a midnight premiere of a movie, then a few hours of sleep and back to work. I can't fucking do it anymore, lol.
