Electric stove in my current place. I grew up with a gas range, and I've never fully gotten accustomed to the electric. I don't complain about it as much these days, but I would switch if I could.

Electric. I'd prefer gas, but it's what my apartment came with and I don't have the money (and might not legally be allowed) to replace it. At least the thing works well; the last electric stove I had took 15-20 minutes to boil water, no joke.

Gas stove now. I find my electric stove was better at baking and my gas is better with stove top cooking.

I'd love to switch back to gas, but I don't know how long we'll be living here and it's not worth it to me to pay to have the gas line put in to the right place.

I have an electric stove the kind with the ceramic top and the burners are under the ceramic....I hate it it sucks you cannot keep it clean and it takes forever to cool down..UGH!! I need a new stove!

Electric and I hate it. Nothing heats evenly, it scorches the bottom of all of my pans, it's a bitch to clean. I miss having a gas stove so very badly. I has sad face now.

I can't believe this is a question. It's so odd because me and my wife were planing on buying this new house but it's run on gas and thats a turn off for me, mainly because of the price for gas. But everyone keeps telling me it's so much better then electric. Just wierd to see this on here when we were taslking about this no more then an hour ago...
