I do the basics myself, like oil changes, brakes, stuff like that but for the more complicated stuff I take the car to my mechanic, who happens to be a really good friend. I'm fortunate.

absolutely. He's a family friend and we trust him, and trade services for discounts. Sometimes when I think about moving out of town he is one of the reasons I should stay!

Yes-There is a neighborhood mechanic not far from the house. Seems fair and trustworthy.

I feel pretty fortunate, there is one near my office that we have been friends with for 20 years. They worked on my first car all the way to now.

Yes! I've been going to this same guy for the past 8 years. He's honest, practical and nothing short of brilliant when it comes to diagnosing and fixing car problems. Unfortunately, he's semi-retired and I'm not as sold on the people who will be taking over his shop when he finally retires for good.

Yes, two of them. My husband and my father both work on cars, trucks you name it. I trust them both to fix the truck if needed. Both men have repaired cars and trucks since nearly 5 years old.
