We used to, it was my brother in-laws and I was never so happy to have that thing out of my house. It was giant, and I didn't really want to take care of it. He had it full of convicts.
I have a small one and I have none in it right now. The only surviving fish is in a fish bowl and it is a glo fish. I did not want to have to clean after one fish in a tank.
I don't have one, but my roommate does. She has a turtle and some big goldfish. It's a nice little tank and the sound of running water is always a nice addition to the house.
I wish i did! i find the sound of the filter to be really comforting and help me to focus and relax. I fostered my exroommates turtles for a little and found myself spending a lot of time out in the living room where i could hear the sound of their filter.
Use to my dad always had a tank in the house for as long as I could remember there would be MANY nights I would fall asleep on the floor as a child watching the fish swim in the 55gal tank we had. I had a 20 gallon in my room last year and the ONLY reason it got set back up was because my ex an I won fish at the fair. Needless to say we went to the store an bought more but they died not long after we got them.
We've had a few fish tanks over the years but the fish always died. It seems an act of cruelty to keep trying. I make do with an hour long video aquarium.
