It depends more on how late in the evening it is when I eat dinner. Sometimes I'll opt for a dessert, but usually I don't because I don't want to take the calories for it or it's too late.

We don't have dessert very often. If we have dessert after dinner, it's typically at my parent's house.

Love desserts, but have been raised with sort of the habit of only having them on special occasions. I find I like them less when they're readily accessible.

More like whenever. There's always deserts available on special occasions but I don't always have some and I enjoy deserts on any old day too.
