Nope. Most businesses are open today, it's the banks and government personnel who have today off. I think schools should be open today. They could be watching the infamous I Have a Dream speech after watching the inauguration festivities. Eh, oh well. I'm not in charge of the school system. Just wish our kids had better opportunities when it comes to this stuff.

Do you know that I grew up and went to school in Atlanta and even though we have all of these wonderful resources for MLK Jr. and his efforts, it was never suggested we visit the King Center or anything else like that?

Field trips were to Fernbank, Renn Faire, or Six Flags.
