I have always tried to be open and honest with my partner regardless of the situation. Even in times I found it uncomfortable, but I have begun to notice not all couples are like this and I am wondering,... is there any secrets that you hold back from your partner and why.

I try to be open an honest, but there are a lot of subjects my partner has never asked about. There are some things I've never told him, and some people may consider them as "being kept secret", but to me they're not important and he's never asked. If the subject ever came up I'd be completely honest though.

Nope, it's harder to keep track of secrets, so I just tend to be open. Besides, it means things get fixed before they grow

I have kept things back, because I didn't like the way my partner would react. I'm all for being open and honest, but sometimes thing happen... and if the other person can't act like a mature adult, then in my opinion they're asking to be left in the dark or lied to.
