More than I ever wanted to know ...

My mother ... who is an RN ... and had me fill out her family medical history papers when she broke her wrists ... yeah. XP

Mostly. I know both sides of my family have numerous blood pressure/heart problems (between my sisters and I, so far I'm the only one who doesn't have heart issues), plus the occasional cancer/diabetes/Crohn' s/etc.

My mom was adopted and never found her biological parents so there's a lot I don't know, unfortunately.

A couple years ago, my dad's mom filled in my aunt and me about our family history. It was downright scary and informative.

I wish I did. Unfortunately, I don't have contact with my biological father so I can't figure out what I might need to look out for :'(

I thought I did. Then I made my mom go with me to the Dr.s and I made her fill out the paper work. So many things I didn't know!

I mainly only know my mom's side of the medical history. I have had NO contact with my biological side of the family my whole life.
