I love storms and will watch them sitting on the front porch sometimes. My pets hate the sound of thunder though so they hide until it is over.

funny that you mention it, there's a storm just passing over. i usually unplug my computer and important electronics, but as long as I'm inside, I'm not bothered by it. I enjoy listening to the rain and thunder as I sleep.

NOOOO! Ever since we had a few tornadoes IN ONE DAY last year in May, our entire area flips over thunderstorms. Understandably so though, I do too and those tornadoes totally devastate an area that has been hit. It's sad So no, I HATE storms and thunger. Lightening really doesn't bug me though. I'll shower when it's storming because I panic and worry if the power goes out, I won't get to shower.. It doesn't scare me, but I won't go out in it.

I love a good storm. Always have. I love to sit and watch the rain and lightning. Its not as fun when I've gotta console scared kids though

Depends on if I am watching my parents dogs or not

Otherwise, I love it! It's relaxing to me. But the dogs are terrified of it, and having a 75lb dog trying to sit in your lap during a thunderstorm is no fun lol

I'll get a little antsy if I am blow-drying my hair next to the window, or else I'm totally fine with it. My poor poodle is terrified of the thunder and tries to stay as close to me as possible.

I love thunderstorms.

My Man and I like to make love during thunderstorms, if we can. It adds a delightful excitement to an already very exciting time.

I will talk on the phone during a thunderstorm, but I try not to use the shower. The reason is that we have a private well, run by electricity and a septic tank. If the electricity goes off, we have NO water! If you're in the middle of a shower and the power goes off, not only have you used up all the water in the tank, but there is no way to get the water TO the shower to rinse off. We also can't use our sinks, toilets, and other water using everyday stuff when our power goes out.

I love storms! Especially at night. As long as it isn't bringing a Tornado, then bring it on! Oh, and doesn't take the power out in the summer for very long so you roast.

god i love thunderstorms, esp. in the summer. the sheer power of nature. it turns me on! makes me feel small, yet safe at the same time. i love it.

If they are not too close I like them, the sound usually puts me to sleep. I really need to get a sleep sound machine that makes storm noises.
