Here is what I mean. No one ever can guess that I love hard rock music best, I also like classic thunder, some pop. However, I am slender white and tend to dress a little preppy. My husband wears lots of jeans and button up shirts, has a mustache, he looks like he like country music. He love hard rock too. We are big fans of oomph, rammstein, ozzy rob zombie and the sort.
Do you look like your music preference?

My preferences are rock and dance/techno (though I like a bit of everything)...on an average day I look more like the sort of woman that listens to new age stuff like Enya.

I listen to mostly rock music and heavy metal, but I will listen to anything except rap and hip hop. I dress in jeans and a shirt. I don't think I look like my music.

Everyone I meet is like "Hey, have you heard the new (insert some metal/hardcore band here) album?" and I just stare at them like this
And then they ask me what kind of music I'm into and I tell them I'm into underground hip-hop, electronic music, and indie stuff. You know, the stuff no one else ever listens to.
And then they mention something about me looking like someone who would be into whatever genre they referenced because of my tattoos and weird hair.

ON ANOTHER NOTE TO REPLY TO THE THREAD
It's kinda obvious what kinda music I listen to... I have a bunch of ICP shirts that I wear almost every day. I also have a Joan Jett shirt that used to be my dad's that I occasionally wear. So it kinda sorta gives it away I guess.
But then I also listen to classical music, those weird meditation chant type things, rock, heavy metal, a bunch of Japanese music, reggae and ska, dubstep, techno, trance, industrial... some of everything every day xD although lately it's been Blue Oyster Cult on repeat x_x
