Before I discovered EF, I was a longtime member of a tanning forum. (I know, tanning is bad for you, skin cancer, etc.) I worked at a tanning salon for a year in college and found it beneficial to know the trade, and my customers. However, I'm now embracing my pale skin and have stopped posting there, as I just don't have anything in common with those people anymore. (And most of them are kind of superficial...who knew? *sarcasm*) Were you a member of any other types of forums before EF? If so, what kind and for how long? Do you still post there?

I mostly visit music forums and image boards, and have been doing so for about ten years now - since I first had a computer!

I have had internet access since 1995. There are tons of forums I've posted on in the past and present. I try to keep them separate from one another.

I may be the exception - I like this forum and don't feel the need to find more places to 'waste' time. Clarification - I do not consider the EF Forum a waste of time - just that if I go shopping for more places, I'll undoubtedly start repeating myself - a waste of time.

Been posting to forums since 1998. Art. Anime. Weight loss. Writing. Social. Harry Potter. I met my ex-husband at one. My best friend of 11 years at another. Several people whom I'm still in contact with for several years because our friendships grew pretty close during those times. Due to my close friendships, a few of them have crossed over from their original forums and have become friends as well through my LiveJournal and Facebook. I've also met lots of them in person.
Just this past summer a group of them got together and got me a ticket to attend a Harry Potter convention in Orlando (since I lived close but couldn't attend) just so we could all hang out again. I love my online friends. ^_^

Yeah, I do. I post on the forums of Bad Dragon, Exotic Erotics, and Zeta. I also used to be part of gaming forums for certain games. I haven't in a while, though. I was also part of a Wiccan forum.

I very occasionally post in other forums - some tech like Blackberry forums, automotive/motorcycle forums, and some parenting forums. But I'm not like a day-to-day member of any forum other than this one

Yeah I'm a part of an exercise and fitness forum. It helps because no one else in my life is active, so it helps to get support and tips from people.

Years ago I did. I lived on it almost as much as I do on Eden now. But I've outgrown that one and EF is my only online commitment. *snuggles it*

It is a great hobby and I absolutely love taking care of the tank and fishies. You'd be surprised how much there really is to tank keeping.
