Do you speak more than one language? :)

Just curious...

And it is obvious that folks from other countries than the ones with the official English language, speak more than one...

I wish! My grandparents lived in Germany up until just before my dad was born. So my dad knows German but never bothered to teach any of it to his kids which I kinda thought was a waste

I speak English and Russian, trying to learn Czech and hardly remember anything in German and Spanish, but I used to study them as well.

I wish I would've grown up in a multi-lingual household. The only language I grew up with was Pig Latin.

I speak passable German, had 3 1/2 years in college.

Oui! Like Taylor I can read and write but have problems with speaking French. It's a mental block and with time I loosen up and have an easier time.
Arch speaks Polish fluently and is teaching our son and daughters.
We'd love to learn a few others and plan on getting Rosetta Stone software to do just that.

Make sure you preview the software before you buy it; a lot of people are very incompatible with Rosetta stone. I didn't think it was too horrible, and used it because it was one of the resources at the library, but I like other educational media better.
